We have broad, ongoing experience researching a wide range of topics in both print and online sources. Alan’s experience is that of a senior research scientist and university faculty member. Judi is a reference librarian with experience in university, engineering, and medical settings. Judi currently serves as the reference librarian for the Danny Schneller Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the healthcare of residents at Washington State’s five residential centers for the profoundly developmentally disabled. This position requires staying abreast of the medical literature and preparing updates for healthcare professionals throughout the state. Judi also provides medical reference service, particularly on major holidays. Judi has been providing a newsletter for professional staff working in State facilities as well as other people interested in the care of our clientele. She spends many hours each week researching professional journals to provide us with the latest information on subjects related to the medical problems of our residents. This service is very much appreciated, since it saves us time in having to research these topics for ourselves. Her resources are always the best in professionalism and are chosen from a wide variety of subject matter. We are fortunate to have Judi to help us in the care of clients in this way. |
